Our fondue bourguignonne

Beef, hot oil and sauces: the fondue for meat lovers.

Best-seller

Burgundy fondue (beef in hot oil)

Rump steak (250 g) in pieces, to cook in a caquelon of oil, served with potatoes, salad and sauces: mustard, béarnaise and sauce aurore, a creamy tomato sauce.

27 €

In our three restaurants, the fondue bourguignonne is made with rump steak (250 g).

How does it work?

A caquelon of piping-hot oil is placed in the centre of the table. Everyone spears a piece of beef on their fondue fork and dips it into the oil: a few seconds for rare meat, a little longer for medium.

Slide it onto your plate, dip it in the sauce of your choice, and start again. A fondue to share with friends, family or as a couple, just like cheese fondue.

  • Rump steak (250 g) in pieces, ready to cook
  • Potatoes and green salad
  • Mustard, béarnaise and sauce aurore
  • Tip: the fondue fork comes out of the oil scorching hot, so put the meat on your plate before eating it
